Palm Springs stars Andy Samberg as young carefree Nyles who has a chance encounter at a wedding with maid of honour Sarah (Cristin Milioti). Things take a complicated turn when they realise they are both stuck in the same day. Yes, it’s a time loop movie. I know what you are thinking, another ‘Groundhog’ comedy?! Yes, time loop movies appear to be all the rage right now. But this one actually appears quite good. It’s a comedy with Andy Samberg so if you are a fan of his style like me then you have an idea what to expect from him.

The film broke records last year as the biggest sale in the history of the Sundance film festival and scored almost top marks on Rotten Tomatoes when it was released on Hulu in the United States. The film is directed by Max Barbakow and stars J.K.Simmons, Meredith Hagner and Camila Mendes. It’s taken a while, but we finally get to see this highly rated romantic comedy when its released-on April 9th, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video
